Truman College, 1145 West Wilson Avenue, is located on major Chicago bus and El routes. The main entrance is half a block from the intersection of Wilson and Broadway and only about 50 feet from the Wilson Red Line El stop.
This year, it's more important than ever to consider using public transportation to get to class. Due to development in Wilson Yard, the student parking lot under the El tracks next to the college, and construction on a new parking deck, there will be no parking at the college itself. Alternate parking has been provided in a Park District lot at the east end of Wilson Avenue, about six blocks from the college, next to Lake Michigan, with a shuttle bus to transport students to the main Truman building.
Please note, there is no parking at the college for anyone but those who have legitimate handicap license plates or windshield placards. Please use alternate transportation or the lake lot and the shuttle bus. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The Park District lot is on Wilson Avenue, just east of Lake Shore Drive. Shuttle buses have been provided to ferry faculty, staff, and students between the lot and the college.
