The Transfer Option: From Truman College to a Four-Year University
The Truman College Associate in Arts (A.A.) and Associate in Science (A.S.) degrees are baccalaureate transfer programs that parallel the first two years of study at a four year college or university.
Truman is a participant in the Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI) which will allow undecided students to fulfill both the General Education curriculum and courses in an IAI Major which will transfer to participating baccalaureate degree institutions.
To keep track of your progress towards completing a degree, fill out a transfer planning worksheet using the IAI website or use the Academic Advising Worksheet from the college catalog.
Truman College and the City Colleges of Chicago have instituted Dual Admissions Agreements and formal Articulation Agreements with various universities to make the Transfer process simpler.
