Academic
The Academic program offers credit classes for students wishing to earn a two-year associate degree or a career certificate. Students returning to college or those who already have a degree may also take college credit classes. View a list of Majors or Classes.
Adult Education

Continuing Education
Continuing Education offers growth opportunities through a full-range of affordable, non-credit, short-term certificates, personal and professional courses, occupational training programs, and workshops designed to upgrade or provide job skills, improve basic academic skills, or create career possibilities. Business and Industry Services
Truman Colleges's Business and Industry Services delivers customized training and consulting to local businesses and organizations in the following areas:- Management, Professional Development & Strategic Training (e.g. Zenger Miller Training, Team Building, Project Management, Supervision, Customer Service)
- Information Technology & Computer Applications (e.g. Oracle, Novell, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Programming Languages)
- Manufacturing Technology &Industrial Services (e.g. OSHA/Safety, Machine Operations, ISO 9000, Blue Print Reading)
- Biotechnology & Health Care Training Services (e.g. Bioinformatics, Food Service Sanitation Certification, IV Therapy Certification, Medical Equipment In-Services)
- Basic Skills & ESL for the Workplace (e.g. Literacy, Reading, Writing, and Math)
Child Development Lab School
Truman College's Child Devlopment Lab School offers comprehensive, full day Head Start and State Pre-kindergarten classrooms for students and staff at Truman College and families in the community. The Lab School is a demonstration program for Child Development and Education students at Truman College and offers further training to programs throughout the city of Chicago. We are licensed by the State of Illinois and offer comprehensive childcare and education for children from age three(3) to five(5). For more information, call (773) 907-4740
Truman Middle College
Truman Middle College is an alternative high school that provides students 16 to under 21 years of age, who have dropped out of high school, a second chance to complete their high school education. The Middle College is accredited by the North Central Association of Secondary School and Colleges and it is authorized by the State of Illinois to issue a Secondary Diploma.
