Student Services for Adult Education Students

Tutoring: Adult Education students have access to ESL and ABE/GED tutoring, as well as the Computerized Tutoring Center, where they can supplement classroom instruction through the use of technology.

Transferring into the College Credit or Other Programs: Many Adult Education students have successfully transferred into other college programs once they have learned enough English or have passed the GED exam. Students are strongly encouraged to talk to a College Advisor in Room 1112 to help define their goals and learn about the requirements of other programs.

ESL students are encouraged to take advantage of the ESL Incentive Program once they have reached the higher levels, in order to experience college credit classes while still studying in Adult Education. Outstanding GED students may qualify for a college credit class through the Credit-in Escrow Program. Counselors and teachers can provide interested students with more information about these opportunities.

College-Wide Student Services: All services of the college are available to Adult Education Students.
