Description: Citizenship classes are offered for adults who are preparing to take the US Citizenship and Immigration Services citizenship examination. The course addresses the content of the exam itself as well as the language skills necessary for the INS interview. Students also learn about the rights and responsibilities of citizenship and how to access community services.
Class Times: Citizenship classes may be taken either on Monday evenings from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. or on Saturday mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
How to Register: There are five registration periods throughout the year. In order to serve new students better, registration is done by appointment. New students should call 773-907-4350 to hear information about when they can pick up an appointment ticket for the next registration.
