Associate in Science Degree at Truman College

The Associate in Science Degree (A.S.)

These courses fulfill the Associate in Arts (A.S.) Degree and equate with the IAI General Education Core Curriculum. Courses listed are IAI approved. Individual majors will require specific course work. For more details and assistance with choosing courses in your concentration, meet with your college advisor or a member of the faculty. At least one course must meet the State’s Human Diversity requirement.

A grade of "C" or better is required for classes to count toward the Associate degree. With the Truman College A.A. degree students will have met the all-campus, lower-division general education requirements for the baccalaureate degree at most Illinois universities/colleges.
