The Credit Class Schedule Welcome to the Academic Program at Truman College, which offers credit classes for students wishing to earn a two-year associate degree or a career certificate. Students returning to college or those who already have a degree may also take college credit classes. Truman offers associate degrees in the arts (AA), the sciences (AS), in pre-engineering (AES), in fine arts (AFA) or in teaching (AAT), transferable to a four-year school. The associate in applied science degree (AAS) prepares you for such careers as Nursing and Biotechnology.

Registration Information for the Fall 2009 Semester!

New Students should Apply Online. Find out more about the Admissions Process, including where to take your Placement Test and New Student Orientation! International Students should contact an admissions advisor. Returning Students should meet with an advisor to confirm their class selections. For more information, call (773) 907-4000.

Admissions and Advising Hours are:
Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-7:30pm
(closed Thursdays from 2:00-4:00 pm)
Friday: 8:30am-4pm
Saturday: 9am-3pm

Join the Center for Undergraduate Research and the Advancement of Technological Education (CURATE) for the opportunity to receive hands-on training in research, scientific writing and presentations; attend regional and national science meetings; and meet with scientists and visit laboratories at four-year institutions and in industry.

Truman Scholars Program
Truman College is now offering an honors program, entitled the Harry S. Truman Scholars Program. The goal of the this program is to offer students learning experiences that will develop their intellectual growth through academic activities and to build a relationship with a Truman Scholar Faculty member. Students with a 3.0 grade point average or higher are nominated by a Truman Scholar Faculty in the beginning of the Fall Semester to collaboratively design and complete a project, which will serve as a capstone experience near the end of her or his academic experience at Truman College.
